Police-Officer 

Applications for the Oldham County Police Department are accepted year round and may be picked up at the Oldham County Police Department located at 1855 North Highway 393 in Buckner, Kentucky.  Applications may also be obtained through e-mail by returning to our Merit Board Page page and requesting one through the Merit Board.  Applicants selected shall be placed on an "Applicant Eligibility List"  for consideration as openings occur.  The eligibility list will be maintained for one (1)  year after its certification by the Oldham County Police Merit Board. 

 Requirements:
 U.S. Citizen, high school or GED graduate, 21 years of age, copy of birth certificate as proof of minimum age requirement and meet all of the POPS standards.  Must be willing to establish residency in Oldham County.  Successfully pass written and physical examination.  Salary:  $28,981, plus $3,100.00 incentive, when eligible.
