Injury Accident

 On Tuesday, October, 18, 2005, at 3:05 PM Oldham County Police responded to an injury accident on Ash Ave (KY 362), just west of the Shelby County Line.  Preliminary investigation revealed an unidentified male lost control of the motor scooter he was operating and struck the left side of a stationary work truck.  Prior to the collision the tanker truck, owned by Ohio Valley Asphalt, was stationary in the westbound lane when the motor scooter crossed over from the eastbound lane into the westbound lane striking the truck.  The driver of the motor scooter was not wearing a helmet and sustained possibly life-threatening injuries; he was transported to University Hospital by Stat Care.  Oldham County Police are continuing to investigate this collision.
