Oldham County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on November 25, 2006 at approximately 1:00 AM west of United States Post Office on US 42 in Goshen, Kentucky. 

 Laura Hughes reports that she was operating their Saab passenger car while traveling east on US 42, while her husband Aaron, age 31, was a passenger in the car.  Mrs. Hughes reports to police that after an argument, her husband removed a 45 caliber handgun from the glove box of the vehicle and shot himself.  The victim, Aaron Hughes, was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Hughes, residents of Oldham County, live in the 1100 block of Evondale Way in Goshen.
