OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE PRESS RELEASE

Indictments for the Briar Hill Park Pavilion
 

On September 2, 2010, Oldham County Police obtained indictments against Corey Cunningham (21yrs) and Joshua Swartz (22yrs) for their roles in a fire that destroyed the Briar Hill Park Pavilion in July of 2007.  The case had remained open since the fire; however, in March 2010 Oldham County Police received additional information about possible suspects in the case.  Police interviewed several people that provided information implicating Corey Cunningham and Joshua Swartz in the fire.  With this new information Police sought indictments for Second Degree Arson, Class B Felony.
