On June 24, 2007, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Oldham County Police were notified of a single vehicle traffic collision.  The accident was located in the 7400 block on Kentucky 1408 in Crestwood.  Officers arrived on scene to find a 2004 Toyota Corolla, occupied by the male driver.  It was determined that the vehicle was traveling south on Kentucky 1408 and left the east side of the roadway, striking a utility pole and coming to rest on its wheels.  The driver, Kevin D. Hansen, age 41, from the 7900 block of Kentucky 1408 in Crestwood, Kentucky, was pronounced dead at the scene by the Oldham County Coroners Office.  No other vehicles were involved in the traffic collision.
