Traffic Collision

On 05/20/2009 at approximately 8:00 PM, Oldham County Police responded to a two vehicle injury collision at the intersection of US 42 and HWY 1793.  A 1999 Honda, silver in color, driven by 68 yr old Henrietta Barker of Louisville, KY, was traveling East on US 42 and attempted to make a left hand turn from US 42 onto HWY 1793, when she was struck by a motorcycle driven by 69 year old Hughie Hedges of Goshen, KY, who was traveling West on US HWY 42

Barker and her two passengers suffered no injuries.

Hedges suffered severe injuries and was transported to University of Louisville Hospital.  Hedges was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision.

No charges have been filed.

Collision remains under investigation.
