Missing Juvenile located and returned home

On November 3rd, 2009 at approximately, the Oldham County Police Department located Rosemary Weiler.  A phone number was located and found to belong to a eighteen year old male college student from Ohio.  The student had been talking to Weiler via Internet.  Weiler led the college student to believe that she was sixteen years of age.  When the college student was contacted and learned that she was fourteen years of age, he contacted the campus police to report her as juvenile runaway.  Weiler was detained by campus police until safe transportation could be arranged for her return home.

Because Weiler admitted to police she had advised the college that she was sixteen years of age, no charges will be filed

 

Missing Juvenile

Oldham County Police are investigating a report of a missing Juvenile from the Prospect Area.  Oldham County Police were contacted by the juvenile’s parents shortly after 7:00 AM.  The missing juvenile, Rosemary Weiler, is 14 years old, 5’ 2”, 120 pounds, brown hair, and brown eyes.  Rosemary was last seen late yesterday evening in the residence.  Rosemary told at least one friend that someone was coming from Florida or California to pick her up.  Police do not have an identity of who she may be in the company of; however, if may be someone she met online.  Police do not know what she may be wearing; only that she took a back pack, pink Dell laptop, and has blue colored contact lenses.  Police ask that anyone with any information on her whereabouts contact them at (502) 222-0111.
