The Kentucky Department of Transportation announced for the eleventh consecutive year that the Oldham County Police and the LaGrange Police Departments have received a state grant to help cover overtime pay for officers to reduce traffic crashes and the associated deaths, injuries, and property damage caused by speeding, driving while intoxicated, and the failure to buckle up.

The Transportation Department has awarded a $15,000 grant which requires a 50 percent match, with Oldham County providing $12,000 and the LaGrange Police Department providing $3,000.
