Motor Vehicle Collision Involving a Fatality and Injury
 

On January 1, 2010 at approximately 2:50 am, Oldham County Police responded to a one vehicle injury collision in the 10000 block of Worthington Lane.  A silver 2000 Infiniti passenger car, traveling east on Worthington Lane, failed to negotiate a curve and left the south side of the road striking a tree. 

The operator of the vehicle,  28 year old Christopher T. McDowell of the 2900 Block of Hewitt Place court in Louisville was pronounced dead at the scene by the Oldham County Coroner. The operator was not wearing a seatbelt.

Two passengers in the vehicle, 29 year old April Browne and 27 year old Christopher Bertram both of Louisville were transported by EMS to University of Louisville Hospital with non life threatening injuries.
