OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE PRESS RELEASE

Missing Person
 

Monday, May 17, 2010, at approximately 5:00 pm, Oldham County Police Department investigated a report of a missing person at the boat dock located in Westport, Kentucky.  The missing person was identified as being James Williamson, age 51, of Louisville Kentucky.  Williamson was reported leaving Rivers Edge Marina located in Indiana and was in route to the boat dock in Westport, Kentucky.  A green Johnboat was located in the area of Eighteen Mile Island driving in circles.  Upon further investigation, the boat had damage to the prop and Williamson ‘s identification was located.    A search of the area is currently being conducted by Oldham County Police, Louisville Metro Police, and the United States Coast Guard.
