OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE PRESS RELEASE

 

BURGLARY SUSPECTS ARRESTING STEALING SCRAP METAL FROM CHURCH UNDER CONSTRUCTION

On August 25,2010, at approximately 03:30 am, Oldham County Police discovered a Burglary in progress at 6201 Crestwood Station, Crestwood, KY.  The location is a construction site which is to be the future home of Southeast Christian Church Oldham County Campus.

While on routine patrol an Oldham County Police Officer discovered a suspicious vehicle located in the rear of the building.  The Officer stopped the vehicle and through investigation determined the vehicle contained a large amount of copper wire stolen from the construction site.

The operator of the vehicle was identified as Kevin W. Masden, a 32 year old white male of Louisville, KY 40219.

The passenger of the vehicle was identified as James M. Cook, a 26 year old white male of Louisville, KY 40219.

Kevin W. Masden and James M. Cook were both arrested and charged with the following offenses:

(1) Burglary 3rd Degree
(2) Theft by Unlawful Taking

A Warrant for "No Registration" and "No Insurance" was also served on Kevin W. Masden.
