OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE PRESS RELEASE

On August 24, 2010 Oldham County Police charged Yanice Hunter, 22, with robbery for the August 23 robbery of the Circle K store in Crestwood.  Hunter was identified with the assistance of Louisville Metro Police, Floyd County Sheriff’s Office, Clarksville Police, and the New Albany Police Department.  Through the investigation it was determined a connected robbery took place in Clarksville approximately 2 hours prior to the robbery in Oldham County.  Hunter was located in New Albany and taken into custody; he is currently being held at the Floyd County Jail in Indiana on charges and awaiting extradition proceedings to return to Kentucky.  Police believe Hunter to be the individual who entered the store; witnesses reported seeing an additional white male in the vehicle.  Police ask anyone with information relating to this crime to contact them at (502) 222-1300.
