OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE PRESS RELEASE

 

On Monday, August 30, 2010, at approximately 9:00  PM, Oldham County Police were called by a resident of the 6600 block of Ashbrooke Drive in reference to a home invasion.  The victim stated that two white males entered the residence armed with guns and demanded cash.  After obtaining items from the residence the two males fled to a dark colored truck parked on the street, occupied by a third individual.  The victim contacted police and her husband, providing a description of the truck.  The victim’s husband was driving back to his residence when contacted by his wife and passed the fleeing truck in the vicinity of Ash Ave and KY 146.  The husband followed the vehicle until police were able to intercept it in Jeffersonville Indiana.  Jeffersonville Police arrested the three individuals in the truck for drug and firearm possession. 

Oldham County Police have interviewed the three subjects arrested by Jeffersonville and will take charges against the individuals for their roles in the Oldham County Burglary.  The three individuals will be charged with Burglary 1st Degree and Robbery 1st Degree and are currently housed at the Clark County Jail.
