OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE PRESS RELEASE |

On Friday, September 10, 2010 at approximately 16:00 hrs, Oldham County Police received a report from a Briar Hill board member that broken glass was found in the sand volleyball court at Briar Hill Park. While at the scene, Oldham County Police along with the reporting party removed numerous pieces of broken glass that appeared to be intentionally buried throughout the sand. At this time, the volleyball court has been roped off with caution tape until further notice is given by the Oldham County Parks Department that the sand is safe to continue recreation. This is the second incident that the Oldham County Police have had regarding broken glass being buried in the sand volleyball court at Briar Hill Park. At this time, there is no suspect or any further information available.
