OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE RECOGNIZE AMY ALVEY The Oldham County Police Department (OCPD) has recognized Amy Alvey for her service-related contributions to that Agency and to Oldham County. Ms. Alvey, who has recently resigned her position as Oldham County Fiscal Court Treasurer to take a comptroller’s position with the Oldham County Sewer District, was the guest of the OCPD on Thursday at a reception in her honor. OCPD Chief Michael Griffin characterized Ms. Alvey as an outstanding employee who went out of her way to make everyone’s job easier and enjoyable. “Amy was invaluable to this department in many ways,” remarked Chief Griffin, “to include taking care of our drug forfeiture funds, grant funding and assisting in budget preparations. As a department, we wanted her to know how much we appreciated her.” |
