Randy Bianco Retires
 

Randy Bianco finished a long and distinguished career in law enforcement when he recently retired from the Oldham County Police Department.  At the time of his retirement, Bianco was a Detective in the Criminal Investigative Division (CID), having served 18 of his 20 years in law enforcement with the Oldham County Police Department.

Bianco began his career with the Kentucky State Police in May of 1990, and remained a Trooper until he took a position with the Oldham County Police Department in March of 1992 to become the 27th person to take the oath of office as an Oldham County Police Officer. 

In March of 2000, Randy was promoted to the rank of Sergeant and assigned as the third shift supervisor.  In June of 2007, Randy made the decision to step down as a department supervisor and join the ranks of the Criminal Investigative Division. He served with to the Federal Drug Enforcement Agency in Louisville as a Task Force Investigator.

“Randy Bianco brought a high level of experience to our department,” stated Oldham County Police Department Assistant Chief Billy Way, “and our citizens benefited greatly from the resolution of many criminal cases worked by him.  To say that we will miss Randy would be an understatement but he has earned his retirement and we wish him and his family the best.”
