Press Release


Oldham County Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on April 27, 2006, between 9:00 and 9:30 PM, in the 6200 block of New Cut Road.  The homeowner reported to investigators that after leaving his residence for a short time, he returned home and hear a noise coming from the basement area.  Victim stated that he looked into the basement and could see four male subjects.  He asked what they were doing there and one of the suspects pulled out a handgun firing three times at the homeowner.  The homeowner was not struck and ran to a neighbors house where he called for police.  The homeowner then observed the four white males flee his residence and get into an older model, possibly a late 70's or early 80's, Ford pick-up truck, tan in color, with rust on the rear-end.  The homeowner reports six shotguns and approximately $1,800.00 in cash was stolen from his residence.  The homeowner states that one suspect was wearing all black while a second suspect had an afro  type haircut.
