ONE KILLED IN HEAD ON COLLISION Chester L. Smith, of the 3100 block of Setting Sun Court, Crestwood, KY, was killed when the vehicle he was driving, 1999 Nissan Altima, crossed the center line on KY 2858 (Abbott Lane) approximately one mile east of Crestwood and struck a concrete truck head on. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene. Smith was traveling north on KY 2858 at approximately 9:00 AM this morning when he struck a Allstate Ready Mix concrete truck traveling south. The Ready Mix truck was being operated by William E. Oldson, of the 2000 block of Fendley Mill Road, LaGrange, KY. Oldson suffered no injuries. The cause of the collision is under investigation by the Oldham County Police Department. |
