FEDERAL GRANT AWARD

The Oldham County Police and LaGrange Police Departments’ partnership with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program has once again proved beneficial for both departments and the citizens of Oldham County.  On November 21, 2005, the Kentucky State Police Highway Safety Branch awarded our Agencies $13,000 to provide additional traffic enforcement on the roadways of Oldham County.

This money allows our agencies to continue its ongoing efforts to continue to attack the problem of speeding, drunk driving, and seat belt utilization with our public awareness programs without further burdening tax dollars.

We will continue parting with other agencies in conjunction with national and state wide Safe and Sober Campaigns and efforts.
