The Oldham County Police Department has recognized Lori Ferriell for her outstanding work as a guidance counselor at South Oldham High School.  On a continuing basis, Lori has done an exceptional job of creating an environment where students feel free to ask for help and seek guidance.  Her efforts have created a positive learning environment, paving the way for South Oldham students to feel safe as they strive to realize their potential.

On behalf of the Oldham County Police Department, Chief Michael Griffin presented Lori Ferriell with the “Gold Star Award” for outstanding public service and commitment in protecting the youth in Oldham County.
