July 3, 2007, Oldham County Judge Executive Duane Murner appointed Justin R. Flynn to serve as a Patrol Officer for the Oldham County Police Department.  Officer Flynn replaces one of two officers who recently left the department.

A native of Greensboro North Carolina, Officer Flynn graduated from Jefferson County High School in 1994.  Currently he is continuing his studies to complete his degree in Justice Administration.

Officer Flynn was employed as a Police Officer for the Radcliff Police Department from 2005 to 2007. 

Officer Flynn is single, enjoys going to the gym and running.  He has one sister, Erika Flynn, who owns a coffee shop in Louisville and his father, Robert Flynn, who retired from the Louisville Metro Police Department and currently is employed with the Jefferson County Sherriff‘s Office.
