Girl Scouts Honor Oldham County Police
Oldham County Police were presented with cookies from Girl Scout Troop #974, at the Oldham County Police Department on April 12, 2005. The presentation was made as part of the groups "Hometown Heroes" program. The cookies were purchased by donation from members of the community and then the troop had to decide who they wanted to present the cookies to. The Troop Leader, Vickie Lamppin, stated that the girl's wanted to present the cookies to the Oldham County Police Department to "thank the officers for keeping them safe".
