CHIEF MICHAEL GRIFFIN MEETS FIRST LADY LAURA BUSH

On a recent visit to Louisville by First Lady Laura Bush, Oldham County Police Chief Michael Griffin had the opportunity to meet and be photographed with her.  Mrs. Bush was representing her husband, President George W. Bush, at a gathering of friends on River Road in Louisville.

“I found Mrs. Bush to be a charming and engaging woman,” Chief Griffin stated, “and I appreciated her taking time from her busy schedule to be photographed with me.”

Arrangements for the photograph were made by the Louisville Office of the U. S. Secret Service, with whom the Oldham County Police have a close working relationship.  Chief Griffin’s youngest son, Tim, a 1987 graduate of Oldham County High School, is a Secret Service Agent assigned to that agency’s Atlanta Office.
