Oldham County Police are investigating a shooting that occurred on May 6, 2004, at approximately 3:00 AM, in the 1500 block of Dawkins Road. The victim, Joseph C. Hager, was allegedly shot by his wife, Brenda M. Hager, with a 9 mm handgun, during a domestic incident. Mr. Hager was treated at Baptist Hospital Northeast and later released. Mr. Hager has been charged with Assault Fourth Degree. Mrs. Hager was arrested and charged with Assault First degree and is currently housed at the Oldham County Jail.
