SENATOR ERNIE HARRIS RECOGNIZES OCPD 30th ANNIVERSARY

At the celebration of the 30th Anniversary of the Oldham County Police Department (OCPD) on January 17, 2008, State Senator Ernie Harris presented a Kentucky State Senate Decree to Chief Michael Griffin, in recognition of that notable milestone.

“Senator Harris has always been a strong advocate of professional policing,” stated Chief Griffin, “and we greatly appreciate him taking the time from his busy schedule to appear at our celebration to recognize this department’s 30 years of dedicated service to Oldham County.”

A framed copy of the State Senatorial decree, signed by Senator Harris and David Williams, President of the Senate, currently hangs in the lobby of the OCPD building.
