January 3, 2005, Judge Executive Mary Ellen Kinser sworn in Robert David Lane to serve as the 31st Police Officer for the Oldham County Police Department. A native of Oldham County, Officer Lane graduated from Oldham County High School in 1997. He has continued his studies at Eastern University in Richmond Kentucky. Officer Lane joined the Oldham County Sheriff’s Office in November 2000 where he has remained until accepting a position with our Agency. He was employed as a Laborer for Hermitage Farm June 1999 to July 2000. While employed with Hermitage Farm he accepted a job with the Department of Transportation from August 1999 to November 2000. Officer Lane has recently become engaged.
