OLDHAM COUNTY POLICE MAKE DRUG BUST

Sunday, September 18, 2005, Oldham County Police, acting on a tip of marijuana cultivation, responded to a home in the 11000 block of Eastport, in Crestwood.  Officers located approximately 8, very large, marijuana plants growing in the rear of the residence.  Officers also found marijuana in the residence, being processed for use or sale.  As a result, John C. Rodgers, age 46, was arrested and charged with cultivating in marijuana (5 plants or more)1^st offense.  The street value of the marijuana is approximately $32,000.00.
