Officer Thomas Moore Receives Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Award

Each year, the Kentucky Governor’s Highway Safety Program recognizes police officers from around the state for their outstanding efforts in removing impaired drivers from the highways.  The program is operated by the Kentucky State Police in conjunction with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

On December 16, 2004, Officer Thomas Moore of the Oldham County Police Department was the recipient of the Governor’s Impaired Driving Enforcement Award.  At a ceremony in Lexington, Officer Moore received a plaque recognizing his efforts to make Kentucky highways safer.  Officer Moore received the award from Cleve Gambill, Deputy Secretary of Justice for the state of Kentucky and Mark Miller, the Commissioner of the Kentucky State Police.
