On January 2, 2005, at approximately 10:00 PM, Oldham County Police responded to report of a robbery involving a pizza delivery person from the LaGrange Papa Johns store. The delivery person was called to make a delivery to a vacant residence located in the 3800 block of Georgie Way. Upon his arrival he was confronted by two individuals, one producing what was believed to be handgun. The delivery person escaped from the suspects and reported the incident to police upon return to the store. On January 3, 2005, patrol officers developed suspect information and subsequent investigation produced charges on one adult male and a juvenile male for arm robbery in the first degree. The handgun was later determined to be a BB pistol. Arrested and charged with Robbery in the first degree was Jason L. Heavrin, 19 years of age, of Crestwood. A 17 year old juvenile was also charged with robbery in the first degree.
