The Oldham County Police have expressed their appreciation to Special Agent Rich Ferretti of the U. S. Secret Service as he prepares for a change in assignment with his agency. Agent Ferretti is from Elizabethtown, Kentucky, where he spent his formative years prior to joining the Secret Service. He has been assigned to the Louisville Office of the U. S. Secret Service for the past four years where he has been an assistant to the Assistant Special Agent In Charge. Ferretti has resided in Oldham County during his current tour in Kentucky. He and his family are preparing for a transfer to the Albuquerque, New Mexico Office where he will be the Resident Agent In Charge. “Rich Ferretti has represented his agency very well, stated Colonel Michael Griffin, Chief of the Oldham County Police, “and he has provided resources and investigative assistance and training to our department.” The OCPD recognized Ferretti’s contributions to its department by presenting him with an inscribed plaque bearing a Colt Bowie Knife, for which he proclaimed his gratitude.
