January 27, 2005, at approximately 8:45 AM, Brian A. Rodgers, 24 years of age, of 9200 block of Margaret Ann Court, Pewee Valley, Kentucky, was operating a 1994 Toyota Corolla eastbound on Reamers Road. Rogers failed to negotiate a left hand curve, loosing control of his vehicle, striking a utility pole at the intersection of Reamers Road and Cedar Court in Pewee Valley. Rogers was transported by Stat Flight to University Hospital. January 28, 2005, at approximately 10:50 AM Rogers died of injuries sustained in the collision. Rogers was not wearing a seatbelt. While there was no evidence of alcohol or drug involvement, speed was a factor in the collision. |
