LOCAL TEENS INVOLVED IN INJURY ACCIDENT Oldham County Police are investigating an injury accident involving three local teens. On February 20, 2006, at approximately 3:00 PM, three teenagers from Pewee Valley were involved in a single vehicle accident on Old Lagrange Road, near Sisters of Mercy. Witnesses stated to police that the vehicle, a 1995 Chevy Cavalier, driven by 18 year old Ashley King was traveling West on Old Lagrange Road, at a high rate of speed. The vehicle hit a dip in the road, went airborne, landed on its wheels, and hit a tree on the passenger side. Two passengers, a juvenile, and 18 yr. old Christopher Ricci, were both ejected from the vehicle. All occupants in the vehicle were transported by Stat Flight, to University of Louisville Hospital. Oldham County Police are still investigating the accident. |
