Collision Report Requests
If you were involved in a collision, and an Officer completed a report, a copy of the report may be obtained online at BuyCrash.com or by completing the form below. It may take 5 to 7 business days for your report to be completed, reviewed, and approved before it is available for release.
You may also request a copy of your report in person at 1855 North Highway 393 La Grange, KY 40031. Our administrative office is open weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., excluding holidays.
Collision reports are considered confidential under KRS 189.635 and are only released to the parties specifically listed by statute.

If you are involved in a collision for which the police did not respond, or a report was not filed, you must submit a Civilian Collision Report within 10 days of the collision. All Civilian Collision Reports must be submitted online to the Kentucky State Police.

KRS 189.635:
(2) Any person operating a vehicle on the highways of this state who is involved in an accident resulting in fatal or non-fatal personal injury to any person or damage to the vehicle rendering the vehicle inoperable shall be required to immediately notify a law enforcement officer having jurisdiction. In the event the operator fails to notify or is incapable of notifying a law enforcement officer having jurisdiction, such responsibility shall rest with the owner of the vehicle or any occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident. A law enforcement officer having jurisdiction shall investigate the accident and file a written report of the accident with his law enforcement agency.
(4) Any person operating a vehicle on the highways of this state who is involved in an accident resulting in any property damage exceeding five hundred dollars ($500) in which an investigation is not conducted by a law enforcement officer shall file a written report of the accident with the Department of State Police within ten (10) days of occurrence of the accident upon forms provided by the department.

Crime Report Requests
Victims of a crime that has been reported to the Oldham County Police Department may request a copy of their report in person at 1855 North Highway 393 La Grange, KY 40031 or by completing the form below. Please call 502-222-1300 if you have any questions. To assist us with locating your report, please have the report number provided by the officer, names of involved parties and/or the location and date of the crime available. It may take 5 to 7 business days for a report to be completed, reviewed and approved before it is available for release.
If you are not the victim and wish to obtain a copy of a crime report, an Open Records Request will need to be submitted to the Custodian of Records.
