Oldham County School Resource Officers
The School Resource Officer (SRO) program exists to help students and their families when there are problems and to determine if problems are related to tobacco, drug or alcohol use, as well as helping students with personal problems of many different kinds.
Finding alternatives, coping in positive and healthy ways are always the goal of the program. Of course, confidentiality is a hallmark of this kind of program, as well.
Our SRO's are full-time officers with the OCPD. They are readily available on their assigned campuses to staff and students, working proactively to keep our schools safe and helping students and their families deal with problems when they arise.
