Unsolved Homicide

Dr. Krishan Arora, a 54-year-old kidney specialist, is the only unsolved murder in Oldham County.

Dr. Arora was gunned down in the library of his residence on June 22, 1998.  Arora was found lying on the tile floor in front of his desk in the library, which was adjacent to his garage.  He had been shot at close range in the head twice with a .40-calber handgun.

Suicide has been ruled out, as was robbery.  Nothing was ever reported missing from the residence, including $179 in Arora's wallet.

Police have no witnesses and only a vague description of a dark sport-utility vehicle that his wife (Ann Marks Arora) reported seeing leaving the scene.

Arora was a senior partner in Nephrology Associates of Kentuckiana.  His colleagues have put up a $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction.

Should you have any information regarding the crime, please contact the Oldham County Police Department or submit an anonymous tip through our Crime Report Function.
